How Can We Help?

How to transfer stocks from one store to another?

After logging into the application there will be an option of “Vouchers” on the left side. Under “Vouchers” we have “Inventory” under which there is an option of “Stock Transfer”.

Clicking on this option will redirect to the screen where the user needs to select the store from which the stock needs to be transferred and the store to which stock needs to be received.

After selecting the respective stores, clicking on “Next” will redirect to the screen where the user needs to provide a “transfer date” and add the items that are to be transferred along their respective quantity beside each item.

Items can be added either by providing the barcode of an item or by manually entering the details of the item.

As soon as barcode is entered available the quantity of the item will be displayed and depending on that user can select the quantity to be transferred.

Validation message will be displayed in case the user selects the quantity to transfer for an item more than the available quantity.

Maximum 12 items can be added at a time to transfer from one store to another, however there is no limit on the number of stock transfers to be done between the stores.

After providing all the details, clicking on “Transfer Stock” CTA will initiate the transfer process and the entry for the same is recorded under Registers → Inventory → Stock Transfer Register.

Under the stock transfer register there will be an option to view the voucher on the right side of each stock transfer entry.

Clicking on this will redirect to the screen where the user can see all the details of that stock transfer.

The user who verifies the received stock needs to click on the “Validate Stock Transfer” option available on the right side of each individual stock transfer entry under “Stock Transfer Registers”.

Clicking on this option will redirect to the screen where the user needs to scan/enter the barcode of every individual item received in stock.

Transferred quantity will be displayed on this screen and scanned quantity will increase upon scanning each individual item.

Once all the items are scanned the user can check if there is any difference between transferred quantity and scanned quantity and report accordingly.

After scanning/entering the barcode for all the received stock is done, clicking on ‘Save’ will update the quantity of stocks in the stores, respectively.
