How to create sales orders from sales indents?

After logging into the application there will be an option of “Registers” on the left side. Under “Registers” we have “Marketing” under which there is an option of “Sales Indent Register”.

Clicking on Sales Indent Register will redirect to the screen with a list of existing sales indents.

List can be filtered by date, customer name, referred by and status.

Sales order can be created only after the sales indent is approved.

There will be two options to create sales order beside each approved sales indent → Create Sales Order and Create Sales Order with Scan.

Create Sales Order:

Clicking on this option will redirect to the screen where items on that indent will be displayed, user can add/edit or delete the items and clicking on save will create the sales order.

Create Sales Order with Scan:

Clicking on this option will redirect to the screen with the option to enter a barcode of the items for which sales order needs to be created.

Using this option of creating sales orders with scan will allow only the items that were part of the sales indent.

If a user tries to enter a barcode of an item which is not part of that particular sales indent, then there will be a validation message displayed on the screen.

Once an item is added by entering barcode then few other fields will be displayed to add details like Packing charges, Shipping charges, Insurance charges, Other charges, Transporter name, L.R No, L.R. Date, Challan no., etc.…

Once all the details are provided clicking on save will create the sales order.

Once sales order is created via sales indent, the entry for the same will be recorded under Registers → Sales → Sales Register.
