How to create a gatepass entry?
After logging into the application there will be an option of “Vouchers” on the left side. Under “Vouchers” we have “Sales”, under which there is an option of “Gatepass Entry”.
Clicking on this option will redirect to the below screen where QwikBills Invoice No. needs to be provided (this can be found on the generated sales bill).
After providing the invoice no. and store name, clicking on “Scan Products” will show the option to scan/enter the barcode of the items.
After the barcode of all the items are provided, if they are matching with the items available on the printed bill then the “Generate Gatepass Register” option will be enabled.
If any of the scanned items does not have entry in the sales bill, then the “Generate Gatepass Register” option will be disabled.
As soon as the sales bill is generated there will be an entry in Gatepass Register with default status of “Pending”.
After clicking on “Generate Gatepass Register”, the status for the same will be updated to “Generated”, Gatepass No. and Gatepass Date will also be updated for the entry under Registers → Sales → Gatepass Register.
